Here it FINALLY is… The Market on 4th now has a blog! We have been so excited for this day to come and we can’t wait to share with you lifestyle tips, diy posts, and so much more! I wanted to start off by introducing the store and what we’re all about.
Rewind back to three years ago before the store was open. Minot was in need of a creative place for makers to sell their handmade goods and a local shop that our community could be part of. When the store first opened it was a small group of seven women with a unique idea. Three years later we have expanded to over 45 makers who sell their items in our store. We specialize in home decor but also have a variety of unique gifts, baby and kids items, and our newest addition is an amazing clothing boutique. I’m guessing you’ve heard the phrase “Shop Local” right? Well here at The Market on 4th that’s what we are all about. Want to know what it feels like to have someone support your small business? Every time I sell something I do a little happy dance inside! I know this is true for every small business owner and maker out there!
Over the years we have held events such as our Spring and Fall Flea where we give back to the community by donating a portion of our admissions to local organizations in Minot. Throughout the year we also host Shop Hop events and our big Home and Lifestyle Workshop where we team up with other local businesses. We bring these events to you guys to get you inspired and to allow you to use your creativity while shopping locally. We are always growing and can’t wait to see where 2019 takes us!
If you haven’t attended one of our workshops you are missing out! These events are great for a girls night out to relax, sip a glass of wine, and use your creativity. Each month we host around four to five workshops with a variety of projects for you to choose from. Whether you are into sign making or jewelry making we have a workshop for you! Want to sign up? Check out the workshop link on our website, our Facebook page, orEventbrite.com to sign up.
With all of our support through the years we want to thank all of our hard working makers, our customers, and the community of Minot. Is there something you love about our store or something you want to see at the store that we don’t have? Send us a message. We love to hear from our customers! Now that you know more about us stay tuned for more blog posts… you won’t want to miss them!
